Word is, Shania Twain will release a new single in late summer, with a new album to follow before the end of the year. No other details at this point.
 

0606.23-Hollywood Walk of Fame, 2007 [Canada]:

Canadians Kiefer Sutherland and Shania Twain, and Barbara Walters have something in common: They will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Recipients for 2007 were announced Friday by Walk of Fame committee chairman Johnny Grant. "It's a privilege to honour these performers," he said. The committee said it had reviewed more than 200 nominations to select next year's 23 honourees. Congratulations Shania!!!!!! (note the picture of the star is a mock up by DAX)

According to one of the moderators on the Official Fan Club:

I just talked to MT and ALL of their fan clubs will be getting new and upgraded software soon! (She said a couple of MT clubs have already gotten the makeover) She said they will have all of the features that Shania's management company will allow them to use. Hopefully, this means we'll have larger "bytes" to use when we attatch files, able to "see" who's online when we are, etc. She said it's up to Q, though on exactly what we will have access to. She said Q wants a new home page, too, which I've reported a month ago or so. I'm assuming this will take place in the next couple of months, whenever Shania releases a new single from her new cd, which should be out by the end of the year. She'll have new photoshoots, etc. to promote the new release. Also, the fan club kits are not done yet. Soon, hopefully!

In an article titled, "It's her party" in the March issue of Country Song Round Up from 1995, Shania talked about her new album, "The Woman In Me". She also talked about being recognized on the street. Shania has definitely found her own niche and she has plenty of faithful fans. All the attention that goes along with being successful is something that Shania is still getting used to. "It's not that I don't like being recognized, but I'd rather not be... it's a little embarrassing. I'm a little shy that way," she admits. "When I'm on stage and when I'm on the radio, I hope everybody knows who I am, but when I'm in private, I don't want to be featured or praised in that way at all."
